GP visit and victory.

Got to see my GP today it's taken a 6 week wait to make sure I saw her as she is always great.

I mentioned the B12 to her and she said right this is stupid let's get it sorted . 5 injections over the next 10 days then on to a maintenance dose! And not to bother with blood tests as the are rubbish!

I'm shocked and happy!! I could have kissed her! Just waiting now on the receptionist calling to give me my appointment schedual! I will still self medicate as one every 3 months is t enough when in maintence- but YAY for victories!

OH! you are so lucky Pixiefae.. I've just had more blood tests which all say normal, that's after I requested more frequent injections- I certainly don't feel normal. I will be posting my test results on this forum as I would like a more informed opinion. Good luck and well done!!

That's fantastic! Now if one GP can do it why not them all? :-)

Well done Pixiefae you've not only "helped yourself" but also the next "b12" patients your doctor treats - and in addition - all your dear readers on here.

Just a thought...make sure you get them every other day until no further improvement if you have neurological symptoms. That would be beyond impressive! Hurrah again X

Great news. Hope my Doc is just as understanding! X
