Storage of b12?
I was told not to keep it in the fridge as it feels nippier when injected. I keep mine in an internal cupboard.
I believe that it's not necessary to keep B12 in the fridge. The fridge light goes out anyhow when the door is closed. On the bottle of Methylcobalamin from Oxford Biosciences it states that it isn't necessary to keep it in the fridge, but that it's a good a place as any.
somewhere cool and dark is all that is required. I keep some of mine in the fridge but most is kept in a dark corner under a table in the front room.
It needs to be kept in the dark, more than somewhere cold. I understand it only requires 20 mins of sunlight to start deactivating it. If you do keep it in the fridge then fill your syringe as normal, pop the cap back on, and pop the syringe into your armpit to thoroughly warm it through, again its in the dark. Then after a minute or so, itll be body temperature and much less likely to nip
I keep mine in the fridge but recently had some that was kept at room temp and it had slightly less sting
think my left thigh is rather 'numb' (long term b12 d) so i don't feel the sub cut. injection apart from the needle prick.
