Kept in a cupboard is fine. No need for fridge. Also if before you inject, some people including me, place the ampules in a pocket for a short while to get it close to body temp. Cold B12 can be slightly more uncomfortable when injecting. Happy injecting!

assuming it is hydroxo or cyano - main issue is light - so keep in a cool, dark place.
methyl is more temperature sensitive and should probably be kept in fridge - but warm in palm for a minute before injecting
I keep my supply in closed Tupperwarebox in fridge. Take one out when I need it and and warm it up before use by keeping it near my skin for 15-20 min. It needs to be kept in the dark, I believe, so a dark cupboard would also suffice.
