How do I use Yuliv nasal spray? No instructions in box...

I live in the US and just received the Yuliv hydroxocobalamin nasal spray I ordered from the UK (thanks detoxpeople!). There are no instructions in the box. How do I use it?

It has a little plastic colloar on the neck of the bottle that I assume I need to take off for use. Do I put it back on when I'm done? Or to transport the bottle, such as when I take it on a plane trip?

Just found a short YouTube video titled "Methyl B-12 Nasal Spray" that demonstrates it. Seems like the collar is just for shipping.

Yes, you need to remove the collar but replace it after you have used the spray as it stops the spray being activated by accident.

Use it as you would most other nasal sprays. The recommendation is one dose in each nostril once or twice a day - but there's nothing to say that you can't use it more frequently.

I find that timing an in breath as I'm spraying gets the best result for me.

Thanks Gambit! I'm hopeful this will work for me, easier than SC injection and doesn't require refrigeration like my methylB12.

there can be problems with leakage if you are carrying it around - often have one in my pocket

For me it was a complete and utter life saver as it was how I really did my loading doses because I couldn't get any sense out of my doctor. I do use a methyl spray as well as hydroxo - as that seems to help with feeling in my foot but the hydroxo works best for mood - hence the mix.

Hope it works for you as well.

You may find that you end up with pink snot ... but it washes out :)

I find that blowing my nose before I take a shot is a good idea ... and probably doing it after I've cleaned my teeth otherwise I can end up spitting a bit out with all the phlegm .... though if you manage to get the angle of delivery right there shouldn't be problems with the spray by-passing nasal cavities.

Gambit, I think pink snot is an improvement on the usual colour, no? ;-)

(unless it looks like a nosebleed :-( )
