Hi guys.

Im paying for the active b12 test that blue horizon medicals do. I just wanted to know can you ask a nurse at your local go surgery to take the sample for you or do i have to do it myself? - anyone else paid for this and if so what did you do?

I have had this test and took the blood my self , it was very hard to do and I meessed the compleat test up , I asked my GP if she would do the ordinary NHS test and as I had tried so hard my self she acreed, the NHS test come back at 104 , well below.

So what every you do get the blood taken professionally , I live in the Manchester Area and I use Pall mall medical , but if you have a search round , any of these private hospitals will oblige .

Good luck . Eddie

You can get a finger prick test from them so you can do it at home. Its very easy and no need for any needles or nurses! :)

I phoned phlebotomy dept at local hospital and they said take the kit in and they'd do it. Even told me when their busiest time was. I was in there about 5 mins. No charge.
