B12 needing help

Hi all so I've just got my results and my b12 is 314 and MCV 95.6

My question is can having low folate and ferritin be causing my serum b12 to be in range, some people has said it can and I need to work out if this is true before approaching my go

Thanks in advance

High folate can mask a B12 problem but wouldn't think that either low folate or low ferritin could elevate your B12 levels - in fact would have thought the opposite was true with folate as you need folate in order to metabolise B12 and to use it so it could be making the symptoms feel worse ... though having had problems with both for a long time does rather imply there is an underlying B12 problem - see responses to your previous post on the fact that 314 is definitely grey area and GP should be treating you on basis of clinical presentation (symptoms) not test results.
