B12 injection shortages
Are you in the UK or in the US - seem to be problems both sides of pond but it is different forms of B12
Here's a link to a letter that you can try taking to your doctor if you are based in the UK suggesting some alternative sources
Which country are you from?
As far as I know there is no shortage in the UK or in Europe.
There is a shortage of the generic brand used by the NHS in the UK Erainy, but the branded B12 is still available.
I don't know what you mean but I can always get one from Boots pharmacy without a problem. As for the US, I also have a 30ml vial manufactured in the US so try looking at different website/places. Anyway, in this day and age, there are plenty of places one can buy B12 vial/ampoules. Try mycare.de, I've ordered 100 vials the other day and came within a week.
There's been an ongoing shortage in the US since October 2013. I requested a refill of mine in January and haven't received it yet. Have a few months' worth left, then I'll be up the proverbial cteek.
I'm based in Canada and we have the same shortage situation. Something about new FDA compliance rules for the major domestic manufacturers in North America. I think in Europe there is more of culture of taking injectable vitamin b12 and that perhaps there are more suppliers. Has anyone purchased from an overseas supplier?
