Decreased desire for wine after following vitamin B1 protocol

Have been taking B1 as directed by doctor C for the last 11 weeks. I lost all interest in my daily glass of wine with dinner. Other PWP who are experimenting with me have noticed the same thing. What is vitamin B1 doing to our chemistry to decrease the desire to drink the vino?

Lucal,

Have you tried mag oil for your stiffness? To me it can do what the magnesium pills can not. Alcohol makes me loose also, especially for dancing!

The Thiamine has also decreased my desire to drink. Since last year , I haven’t even drank a bottle of beer and have no interest to drink but before statrted taking Thiamine,I had an occasional drink.

in reply to Kia17

Just as well, because alcohol is counter productive to thiamine.

I am drinking twice the amount of beer since taking Vitamin B1. No I do not take any pills for PD, due to choice.
