Just seen consultant mass seen on pancreas had blood tests .what now ??

Hi Poppey. I suppose it depends what the blood tests show? If it’s a benign mass they often adopt a wait and see and monitor with scans, dependant on size location and if it’s symptomatic or not. Some benign masses can be drained via endoscopic procedure. If it is benign and symptomatic or they are concerned and/or it’s not benign and you are fit enough they may consider a whipple op. I had mine 3 years ago. With very little info it’s hard to say but please try not to worry until you have something definitive and your consultant is best placed to give you next steps x

I am just reading this. I'm wondering how you got on. I am having pancreatic pain but like you my bloods are OK. CT scan tomorrow- I'm very scared. Hope you are ok.

Hi please dont be scared,the scans are fine nothing to worry about. Imm sure you will be ok ,pancreatitis is very pain ful.please let me know how you go on .I will pray for you .take care and try not to worry .
