My dad of 58 years old Found out he had pancreatic cancer in June 2015 had whipples procedure done in sept 2015 and could get rid of some in the lymph nodes and thought might get blasted with some chemotherapy which he started in October 2015 he had Gemcitabine 6 cycles of that ended in may 2016 had ct scans every 3 months then in may 2017 he was asked to have a clearer scan called a pet scan first he had done so then after had devastating news it's now in his liver and still in lymph nodes so he is now terminal they started him on some stronger chemotherapy of FOLFIRINOX 5fu and he's been coping better then I thought and today he went for a ct scan like normal to be told he's got a clot in his lung and he's on injections everyday for 6 months I just wondered what more is going to go through he had a 19 year old and 26 year old and two grand children 7 and 1 and want to know how to prepare them best there awaiting for the counciling so hopefully they might help them he's having two months off work as he's now starting to feel it I just wish he'd stop working so he can get better but it's his choice
