Palbociclib or ribociclib?
which is more effective
palbociclib
or ribociclib? My onc said ribociclib is and recommended to continue with it. have you talked to the doctors about it?But it is 2 times more expensive and I am self-financed. I can't afford it financially Palbo is works well for the fourth year.

Good news
I'm still on 125 of
palbociclib
. I'm as fit as I could have expected at 75 and work most days in the garden, walk the dog and generally dash about. We've been Bonar bridge for over a year.

Cardiac open heart surgery
I've not had
palbociclib
for several weeks already because of a post-covid cold which the surgeons aren't too bothered about but it means I won't be having palbo for several more weeks until healed and I'm 2.3 yrs into palbo/letrozole treatment .

Silent urinary tract infection
Haven’t had any
palbociclib
since December due to covid reaction/ ops and it was originally grade 3 pleomorphic. I have no desire to repeat this traumatising experience despite excellent care - way too many needles and cannulas for one.

5/2 alternative schedule for ibrance study
Copied from under "Abstract" paragraph:
Palbociclib
, 5-days-on/2-days-off weekly, met its primary endpoint with reduced G3 + ANC, without compromising efficacy. sTK1 is prognostic and shows promise in monitoring the
palbociclib
response. ClinicalTrials.gov#: NCT3007979. Here's the whole article.

Spare/leftover/unopened drugs on offer for free
There’s one full pack of
Palbociclib
/Ibrance. 100mg. And there’s also a packet of anastrozole. Please refer to the photo I’ve put here. If anyone to use these I’m very happy to post them to you anywhere in the world.

New primary plus first progression
I had a mastectomy and axillary clearance left side and then
palbociclib
, letrezole, monthly goserelin and denusamab. I have just found out I have my first progression spine and possible lesion on my liver but more concerning a new primary lobular carcinoma in my right breast and armpit lymph.

Which medicine is messing with my thyroid med uptake
I’ve also restarted cancer meds (
palbociclib
and denosumab) in addition to letrazole and calcium taken continuously. However I’ve suddenly put on 6lb weight in past week and my nails keep breaking.

I am stable and still on my 1st line of treatment which is
Palbociclib
75mg, letrozole, denosumab and zoladex. Because of low neutrophils I am on a 6 wk cycle, 3weeks on 3 weeks off, with the denosumab being 6 weekly inline with the other treatment which I administer myself.

Good end to a long year…
Leterzol and
palbociclib
was no longer working. In the summer I moved to Fasolodex and a second trial drug. I felt okay, but some stomach side effects. In August I discovered it had failed me completely and my growths had doubled. I then caught covid and finally mid September started capcitamone.
