Mounjaro Injections ..

Has anyone used the monjaro injections for losing weight to help with chronic pain?

Partly.i have long term sciatica. Nothing seems to help so far.i thought losing weight would help. But it hasn't. I went to the pain clinic last year. He said, extra weight hasn't caused the sciatica, but the dr, may consider a one off, guided injection under theatre conditions if I get my bmi under 41..my bmi is now 35...can't even get hold of the secretary "staff shortages " ffsI do feel much better though from losing weight, but the pain Is still shocking..what do people take (or do)...thank you

Hi Bookworm,

Yeah so I read somewhere that for every 1lb of extra weight it’s the equivalent of like an extra 10kg on your spine (don’t quote me it’s “something” like that).

When I was slimmer my pain didn’t reduce but the regularity of my flare ups did.

I mentioned Mounjaro specifically as I’ve ready that it has done other things besides losing weight.

I appreciate your reply though, I hope you manage to get some help
