To Everyone have an amazing Happy Christmas and for Some not so good enjoy those lovely memories, remember it is special .
Let the hurting , grinding , pressure , pins and needles , the horrible numbness , pain do its best , we can push through this in love for us and those close to us . My pain is going to be recognised with care passion , making sure I have taken all meds possible and my generator pack is set to the best settings . Use the distraction of everything, tell the pain kindly reduce . Distraction is power-full.
Smell and Taste works , favourite tv / Radio for me , I love my IPad and ever phones with all sorts of music including , running horse track .

One thing you can see , is what ever the horrible discomfort, hurting , pain , fatigue, disabilities, is if we can take a moment in distress to recognise the situation, take a breath, breathe, have compassion for me /us and others we can think and do the little something, that will bring the volume down a little on the hurting / pain .
Now don’t laugh. We you can , I came out of Waitrose , which I am lucky I live very close, I was noting how on top of Christmas so many people load them sky high. Suddenly out of the blue I thought about a Donkey 🫏, for some how frustrating the owner decides to give rides on my back , what size and how will these person pull on my reins head , dig there angles into me , trudging up and down the hill, leave me alone , you are seriously not going to now put all your belongings on me and try and get on the saddle which is making me sweaty and sore, what a life how far are we going now, when am I getting some water. Great I trudge around all day in various rubbing hurting pain and when you think you have half killed me , I will suffer till the morning and we start again, please just leave me along. Sounds all uncomfortable unpredictable, just like my pain .
I am so glad not all donkeys have that kind of life. Not a thought I would always share , as you would think I am bonkers, well yes to cope with pain you have to be . Merry Christmas All, love David x
