Can anyone help
Sounds like a possible form of Parasthesia.
I get it in my left thigh.
Usually a sign of too tight belt or even a car seat belt incident--- sudden tightening in a crash??
Might be worth checking out to see if it resonates with you?
Good luck.
Do you lose sensation and it burn when you put pressure on it? What's the fix?
Yes. So I'm supposed to not sit down for the rest of my life?
See a physio - I have bulging discs and although they say they are not impinging on nerves, I have constant pain travelling down through buttocks and both legs. Physio applied pressure to piriformis, extremely painful, she did warn me! Muscles (9 of which in spasm) were trying to protect my nerves, referred pain, they all say but that doesn't help when you are in constant pain. Cold and hot therapy 20 mins/20 mins, try avoid opioids (Ive been on Pregablin, Gabapentin, Nortriptyline etc - off them all now and no difference in pain levels but I am more in control of my life as not zoomin out on drugs) , they do not help chronic pain. Chiro helped too, pilates to strengthen core muscles, sitting on the tennis ball, which I am sure you will have seen. I have a similar massager to what my chiro used, it helps too. Take a look at the Flippin' Pain campaign information. Info there really helps me get through day to day and 9yrs in to my pain journey I feel more positive, good days & bad days and the pain is there but it doesn't control me, I am learning to ignore it, reprogramming my brain to ignore is not easy but I am getting there! I hope some of this info gives you some positivity for your future treatment. Oh and surgical route - not always the answer as nerves will rebuild themselves - not an option for me though as I was told to my face that I was too fat for the operating table!
Apparently there is nothing wrong though! I've had 4 MRIs. No bulging or slipped discs. No nerve impingement. Nothing to be seen anywhere! Did you have all your vitamins checked?
Are you diabetic? Sounds like peripheral neuropathy ( which I am, and have ).
Are you able to sleep at nights? Base on your answer, I will tell you of my experience.
It could be pudendal neuralgia and involvement of another neighbouring nerve ( genital femoral nerve or cluneal nerve. )
Where do you live? I can supply the names of doctors who can help you rule this out.
MRI cannot image nerves.
I'm having a neuro pelvic mri scan done next week. Which is for nerves
I had similar symptoms but was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I went to a pain clinic and they finally diagnosed me. I was also getting numbness in legs.
