Hello Junny123, maybe it is what you think causing your stomach pain and bloating , but if it does not clear in a few days try to get a GP appointment urgent or if it gets worse call 111 or 999. You are right about this subject, which is an allergy or intolerance, there are no sites on here that talk about allergies , guess its because allergies are very individual to the person. Hope you feel better soon.
Try the lactase tablets before eating dairy, I use boots own make, they have saved my life meaning I can eat whatever I want with no ill effects after. I also use oatly milk for cereal and drinks but you can use any dairy free milks.
I was getting attacks of pain and thinking they were gallstone attacks, they were happening two or three times a month with sweating and toileting issues, but seemed to have gotten better as long as I remember to take a tablet before eating.
If I have forgotten I will leave the dairy till I have eaten some non dairy food, eg eating some soup then after having the butter on the bread.

Hello Junny 123,
It’s a very good idea to buy lactase tablets and have them with you wherever you go. Then it doesn’t matter if you’ve run out of lactose-free milk. I have a little box in each of my bags, then I’m not usually caught out. For me mostly tablets with 7.000 units is enough but for normal milk it might not be enough. You can find lists in the internet of how much lactose there is in dairy products - very little in butter and hard cheese but a lot in normal milk, ice-cream, yoghourt, for example. Sometimes the intolerance just ends but sometimes it remains. In any case don’t provoke it and suffer as a result but use the tablets or keep to lactose-free products!
