Anyone had spinal fusion on T10-12?

I have severe osteoporosis and kyphosis from breaking T10-T12 and wondered if anyone has had this? They're recommending a spinal fusion to fix this or otherwise to live in a brace forever hoping the kyphosis curve won't progress any more than it already has. I'm wondering which is the better option if I can even get the surgery someday.

Hi PreciousGod

I am replying to the posts backwards today, so have just replied to the one above!!

This is the link to the Royal osteoporosis Society. I personally belong to the society, if you have never used it before, have a look at the website. You can talk to specialist nurses - who are really good.
