Weekends are bad news- undiagnosed sent home with vague spin the wheel of fortune could be xyz and nothing happens at weekend. AMU Doctor wanted xyz of tests, consultant didn't.

My blood pressure all over the place when tested in doctors, hospital and at home.

Wondering what the heck I do now as I don't see gastrointestinal referral has any relationship to headache and high blood pressure medicine and sickness tablets 🤔

Can't advise on the doctor's take on referral. Maybe linked to the nausea? If you continue to need help / develop further symptoms, you can telephone 111 or if emergency go to A and E or phone 999.

High blood pressure can cause headaches when it is very high. Your GP give can give you medication for this. Phone them Monday and say you had to go into AMU and need to see GP urgently. They can also do any non-urgent blood tests. Hope the symptoms settle down, but contact them if you need to. 😥🤗

1StepBeyond, what is your pain like? If I may ask.

When I sit my blood pressure and pulse fluctuate from low to high, when I stand on leg that has been operated on it feels like it is sprained, the leg isn't tender as in painful as you would expect.

the symptoms of standing are,

mouth watering queasiness

Wet hair and sweating on back of neck

forehead pain and acute pain in back base of head.

I refused to sit at home and went out for a picnic, climbing two small steps brought on the worst of symptoms and I had to close my eyes as I thought I would throw up and intense back of head pain.

The hospital seem to think the current issues are not due to leg.

I question how it feels sprained, and the symptoms only after an operation.

Local NHS board are moving me to another surgery - as mine looking like it may close after dismal CQC reports.

I phoned 111 when bad, partner didn't want to drive to hospital as 111 suggested, so I went to bed.

After my prior experience in AMU inpatient, I hope it just resolves itself, otherwise I intend to just call 999

Financially I receive nothing and the hospital sick note for 2 months only resulted in the Job Centre phoning asking if I wanted to top up pension credits- no income and a fair way from retirement this confused me.

I absolutely hate the fact that my body doesn't want to do what I want it to do and just want to go back to work and normal pursuits.
