I paid for a private MRI on my thigh due to very large lump which is causing me so much pain. suspected sarcoma

Had Ultrasound on it which was clear,

However the MRI i had today they told me they not sure if the person they send them to would be able to read and report on it and theres a chance it might need to be redone.

My question is the following, Even with a bad mri image would it still be possible to pick up a large mass or would the image quailty not pick it up ect.

I have reasults back in next few days via email

Why didn't they redo the scan?

Or was either the machine or technician not up to the job?

Seems an almighty waste of everyone's time.

If it needs to be redone, you should insist you get it for free.

An utterly unacceptable situation, and a waste of everyone's time.

Good luck.
