So cool, is it in one of those new type pools designed specifically for hydrotherapy? With all the bells and whistles? Regardless I’m envious! I’m proud you are enjoying and as such it must be working! My best wishes for continued success!

Happy New Year, Betsy. 🙂

Glad you've found the hydrotherapy works. Does for me, too although it's a bit of bother to get to/do. Thank goodness I'm near a heated public pool.

Cheers 👍

Hi wunderkid thanks for the reply. Aye I'm really enjoying hydrotherapy sense of achievement makes the soul feel good. Hope you are well tc

Hello Betsy. Can you tell me how you were diagnosed with Fybromyalgia. What steps the doctor went through to come to that conclusion. My son is resident doctor and I asked him about it. He showed me a diagram of a body in one of his medical books and said they will ask you what all parts of your body you have pain. He said there is no blood test or anything and that it's more judgmental. I was diagnosed with Vasculitis back in 2017 and it caused a lot of pain all over but even though I went into remission, I still have a lot of body aches and pains.

Hi LLWegeners it took me a long time to be diagnosed through gp it was actually the advanced physiotherapist to referred me to hospital. Fibromyalgia is based on symptoms alone mine is pain all over my joints but can move from one joint to another daily and not sleeping is involved too. Rheumatologist requested some scans on my hands turns out I have osteoarthritis. You need to keep complaining before anything actually gets done it is ridiculous tbh. I've had back surgery in 1999 and had 2 years pain free but when it came back it was with a vengeance. I suggest you keep at the medical profession it's a long process. Hope this helps with your thoughts. Take care betsy

Good glad to hear it helps. Living with pain is so debilitating wears the soul down. They tell me it's all about keeping me mobile as I use a stick because of nerve damage along my left side I got a foot brace on Tuesday from orthotics as my foot turned in on 2014 and I have weird sensations so as you can see takes a long time for some medical profession to actually listen to you. Never give up !!! You take care of yourself

Well, I have booked a painkilling injection. I hope it works! It cost £450.

Hi myfanwy1945 nice to hear from you. Oh god its alot of money but it will be worth it for you. I now have piriformis and omg the pain is just terrible I'm going to ask advanced physiotherapist to refer me back to orthopedic so I can get a guided steroid injection on the nhs. You take care
