Hi everyone my names Tracey and I'm feeling rather sorry for myself today, having a really bad flare up and can barely walk so once again I'm missing out on being able to go anywhere on this glorious day 😢 but on the bright side I have recorded game of thrones so watching that will help improve my mood 👍🏻😊 hope you all enjoy your bank holiday weekend ❤️

Sorry you are having a flare must say I haven't been too good today so have just sat in the garden resting. OH is also watching Game of Thrones!x

Hi it must be very frustrating not to be able to go anywhere but if you have a garden or a very close park at least you can get out in the sunshine a bit maybe, even if not for long. x

Hello there , enjoy your game like yourself I cannot go out so much in the heat, not because of my arthritis, the heat affects my breathing so my muscles don't work so well. Hope the pain improves soon for you have a good day.

I find the heat cause me more plain as I have a lot of fluid on my knees and ankles and hands which gets worse when I get hot 😘

Hi there , good morning to you. Appreciate what you are saying swelling gets worse and more uncomfortable in the heat, often even putting feet up does not reduce swelling. I find drinking long cold iced drinks cools me and lessens the discomfort for a while. Some people use a hand fan to keep cool anything is worth a try.

I use ice packs when I'm really suffering and I have a fan running all night, dreading my next electric bill tho 😱😬😆😘

A Fan should not run up too much electric cost, unless it is one of those big ceiling kind. Ice packs sound a good idea. I have them in my freezer all the time. Notice the news is forecasting a very warm September so we better start getting ready for the health impact.

tracey, i feel your pain and agony and depression. i am at lose for words when it comes to this pain. dr.'s only want to hand out meds or do your excercises which hurt like hell to do, so just letting you know i'm here for you and i know what your going through.

Awww thank you so much, after 12 yrs of the same thing it does get to much at times, I know what you mean my specialist is hopeless most of the time and never listens to s word I say , I think I've had every medication known to man at one point or another 😱😆 I don't usually complain but for the past couple of hrs I have more bad days than good 😢 I ve recently started on cosentyx which has help a little but I hoping as it's only been 3 months things may improve, I really appreciate your kind words and concern, take care Tracey xx

doctors listen, i guess. they just don't act like they do and they also don't listen when they tell you to talk about it.
