Pain worsening

Hi , the pain I mentioned has moved onto the sides since yesterday…and today it’s spread to the back to my bum 🙈. It’s such an embarrassing topic but this is a site where any problem can be shared

Hi Madnessfan, I have no idea what it is. I wish I did. The pain both dull and sharp. Why it’sspread I just don’t know. Going to the doctors won’t be of any use. The first visit completely put me off.

Does it hurt more when you move?

You might not have a choice about the doctors if it get worse.

Yes it is the most painful when I move

Then it could be a muscle or something like that..You have tried pain relief etc?

Yes the only thing the gp did did was give me painkillers. Diclofenac

Maybe gels or even some stretches can help if it is a muscle thing, pity you dont know for sure whats causing it.

If worse then you are going to have to go back to gp. Ask to see a different gp and you may get a better response.In view of area affected. Are you able to pass urine and feaces normally? If not then this could be medical emergency and you would (am afraid) need to attend A&E.

Tried to do a reply but vanished 🤷‍♀️. As pain and symptoms are worsening you need to go back to gp.

I would say if the pain is that bad and as been around for some days , either ring your GP for a telephone appointment or 999 for A&E. III on line can give you advice too. Sorry if this sounds unkind but only a doctor can prescribe drugs for pain releif or tests for a diagnosis. Delaying might cause more problems for yourself.

You had pain in your groin area, has that cleared up or your now experiencing pain in your butt cheeks along with groin pain?

It could be sciatica but your bio says you have psoriasis it’s possible you have psoriatic arthritis….. Im in PSA hell at the moment which actually causes pain in the butt cheeks and hips (no groin pains) thank god!

You say you have PSA? How bad is it? And how do you treat it?

My PSA is a monster and I have to inject Cosentyx monthly and take Otezla.

Hi Junny1, I had severe, chronic hip pain for 10 years, that is until I started taking Green Lipped Mussel - 2000 mg daily.
