Husbands ongoing thigh pain

My husband has, since March, been generally unwell & fatigue. The worst part is having heavy legs and continued deep thigh pain! We have seen NHS and private doctors, and Rheumatology Consultant. Many tests have been carried out and ruled out immune conditions and bone cancer. The only thing left to check out is with Neurology and Haematology due to low lymphocytes, low neutrophils and low Total white cells... desperate for answers and he cannot work or exercise. Is there any other groups on here that I could put my question to? Thank you p.s. no he has not had Covid or the Vaccine...

Have they looked at it being referred pain? I get thigh pain from my back caused by Spondylolisthesis (when a vertebra bone slips out of position).

I believe that has been ruled out due to type of pain. It's a deep pain along with low white blood count. Maybe to do with bone marrow, which has been suggested

A friend of mine had MDS. It’s a long shot but have they looked into this. Causes extreme fatigue and he had leg pain, not particular in the thigh though.

Your husband should ask his GP to refer him to a hematologist/oncologist especially as his white cells are low. He should emphasize this when asking the GP. It will be done as the GP will then be held to account if your husband finds out at a later date that there is something wrong that should have been addressed now.

We have asked GP twice for referral to Haematology but he only sent 1 or 2 blood results so haematologist returned! Another blood test tomorrow and I will send a very stern letter with accompanying evidence of historic bloods and rheumatology report and ask again for Haematology referral and hope it's accepted this time. He has a neurology appointment soon, that's private though. I work in medical negligence providing court reports for negligence and harms. Its very frustrating.

He avoids pharmacy medicine as much as possible as previously been injured from them. Severe fatigue and heaviness in legs too so this wouldn't help.

Good for him, alternatives are out there, but with Pharma owned by most of the world media, it is harder to find these alternative remedies due to the net being censored.

Im a 52 year old man 22 stone, and had terrible pain in my joints until I found out about a Dr Michael Greger, one of the few Dr's who look for cures to illnesses rather than treating them with drugs.

His theory is that most of our ills are caused by inflammation , caused by bad diet with no nutrition. I highly recommend his book, "How not to Die". Which covers the cures for modern day cancer, heart disease, auto immune disorders , alzheimers, MS, and the list goes on.

His ethos is, imagine if you hit a hammer on your ankle bone every day, it would never heal, as it is always inflamed. The modern day diet is like the hammer, injuring us and going against the bodies brilliant self healing system. Given the chance to heal, without trying to constantly deal with toxins, the body has full power without resistance to heal any injury, reverse any condition and rejuvinate the body.

The reason you do not hear from him as such, is that he goes up against the meat industry, (who use half the drugs manufactured on the planet for food production). They hate his rhetoric and sadly have the money to buy their own "Science" to justify they food they sell. (Dont worry im not a vegan haha). I am just someone who has suffered and seen family suffer and wanted to find what was out there to help. I occasionally drop into the wholefood plant based diet to heal my joints and feel a great stillness and energy in the body. I am not the fittest, and had not run for years, at times i can run with my dog , 22 stone fat bastard, and i realise that the weight i carry is not the whole reason for my suffering, its the fuel i put in the car.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your response. I totally agree with regard to the Pharmacy industry, can you believe I used to work for Pfizer and the NHS! We are both healthy, not vegan, but dairy free. We are reasonably fit and in our fifties. Sadly he cannot exercise anymore due to his legs and fatigue. This time last year we were playing tennis and he was working. Now he is stuck at home, but is a good cook, not so good at ironing!Too many of these doctors are silenced or afraid to speak out.
