Hello I’m a 21 year old male. And I’ve had a bump in my right leg for about 2 years that is only visible once I put pressure on my leg. So if I’m sitting down you can’t see the bump. But if I’m standing or walking squatting etc it’s noticeable. It’s not red doesn’t have a head it’s just a bump and it sometimes hurts if I’m standing for too long. I talked to my doctor he told me he thinks it’s a cyst and nothing to worry about. Is there anything else it could be and how I’d remove it?

Bump in right leg
You said in the end of your post “ my dr thinks it’s a cyst”. I would think it’s fair to ask him if it “ definitely is”. because if not then I would ask for a further test to make “ quite sure”
Yes, you need to rule out a growth like cancer to.
You will have to go to Doctor Pimple Popper that you see on TV she seams to be able to get rid of all sorts of bumps and lumps that other doctor's either cannot or will not remove, I am not sure which channel she is on in USA but here in UK it is on TLC channel.Good luck with getting it sorted out.
Have to agree with others you need the doctor to be sure about diagnosis and refer you for tests to confirm the diagnosis. Speaking from experience , I had my knee replaced but still have the same pain and swelling as before. along with a scar. So you may have to be firm with your Gp, of course at present tests are being avoided due to other demands on the services. Good luck with getting things sorted.
definitely see your GP, any unusual or new lumps should be checked out - even if it isn't causing too much of a nuisance now.
Hi Dillan, I think it is more likely to be a muscle knot. Connective tissue problems can cause these or the way a muscle is working or being stressed. My daughter had one for years. A massage therapist might be the person to see.
