Cold feeling in foot and leg.

Hi.

Can anyone help. My husband has been complaining lately that his foot (best way to describe it) ,is that it feels as though he's been standing in a bucket of cold water and his foot feels wet, when it's not. Now he's saying his leg feels cold. Has been to Dr's and they took blood test which all came back clear. The dr did say he had a high arch and to roll a tennis ball under his foot. He's normally fit and healthy. Any suggestions would be grateful.

Not sure what this could be. We are not medics so cannot diagnose here. However I certainly think he should be asking for Dr to investigate more!

Am wondering if could be something to do with circulation?

No i know u can't ,just wondered if anyone else had suffered with it ..Yeah I think we might have to go back to Drs as not getting any better. The Dr said his circulation is fine.

Hi debbs73,

Is your husband diabetic? My husband is diabetic often has cold foot and legs too when i touch his foot and legs i feel like touching a block of ice. when he lay down i put a hot water bottle near his legs ( not touching his skin because it hot can burn ) and cover them with a blanket to keep his foot warmer. Just try hot water bottle and put the blanket for a night to see how it go.

Hope this will help your husband.

Hi. No he's been tested for diabetes and test's came back clear. When he asks me to feel if he's foot/leg is cold to me it feels warm. He's been tested twice for diabetes in July and December.

I've had all sorts of problems that can only be treated by complementary treatment and for me that has been Traditional Chinese/ oriental style Acupuncture, but there are other types of therapy Your husband could try if this does not appeal

I have back problems and had a second back operation in 2015 , since then I have had burning feelings in my shins, and suffer from cold feet, particularly the right foot......I have been told it's nerve damage......

Has your husband had his back checked out?

Hi bird lady 1.

No he hasn't, but now you mention it he was in a car accident they were hit from behind 20 plus yrs ago. Think he's going to go back to Dr's should get him to mention it to the dr.

Hi Debbs. I just came across this and mum explains her symptoms exactly the same! All tests come back clear and she now has pain in her arms too and it's affecting sleep and even getting dressed! Did you ever get a diagnosis? Doctors seem to have no clue!

Hiya thanks for the reply. No unfortunately we have not had a diagnosis. The gp suggested him rolling a tens ball under his foot but that did nothing for him and still suffers with it now.
