If you are an Android smartphone user and suffering from fibromyalgia, or rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis and living in the UK, then help us improve the way chronic pain is measured.
We are asking participants to complete two questionnaire and submit a daily pain manikin report for 30 days via a smartphone app. As a thank you, we will share a summary report and a gift voucher.

Hi,im interested in this but its the first I've heard of this.I have suffered with chronic fatigue for decades and I have so much pain throughout most of my body.Id like to know plenty about this cos I've long term frustrations with how my ailments haven't been dealt with.
Pain can be managed better, if it is measured in a better way. Consumer technologies, like smartphones can do a lot with digital data which can be used for range of activities, e.g., clinical decision making, better self-management, treatment effectiveness.
Would i have to travel there because I have a longterm health problem,cant drive and have not used public transport since this covid thing started and wouldn't feel comfortable travelling

As there is no valid and reliable pain measurement tool that can be used at scale, we wanted to validate it with specific conditions first. To achieve scientific rigour we picked three conditions at this point. Certainly, going forward we will test this tool with wider MSK community
