Hi everyone so eventually after 11 months aof sheer pain I've to get an mri scan on my wrist that I fractured!!!! Its not healing and I've been doing exercises etc with an advanced physiotherapist but to no avail. It was a distal radius fracture and I have these strange white lines appearing right at fracture area no one can tell me what they are. Has anyone on here had an issue with this any replays greatly appreciated

I haven't personally but my friend did. Even after the fracture had healed and undergoing physio she was no further forward. She ws then given a pain killing injection and that really helped. She was also given a wrist splint which allowed her wrist to have a rest. She seems much better with it now. Hope your pain eases soon.

Hi Rosewine thank you for replying. Honestly it's a total nightmare!!!! Now I suffer from pain due to back surgery in 1999 but this pain is horrendous!!!! I tried the injection it didnt help and they are not doing steroid guided injections atm due to covid as they worked great on my shoulders. I've had 2 different diagnosis and I've tried exercising eith an advanced physiotherapist lots of little gadgets etc but it's just not helped one bit. I still think it is de quervains which means they would need to split the sheath t wrist let the tendons etc flow with no restrictions as it is very very tight. Can only hope mri scan shows this. Hope you are well

Its terrible when you are not sure what is causing it. So much had come to a standstill because of Covid so peoples pain is not being addressed. Nope MRI scan pinpoints the problem and you get proper treatment. X
