Aching!!

I feel absolutely awful... the pain in my joints every single joint from shoulder to feet is horrendous. I had an awful night. Painkillers won’t help. I almost regret having the jab. I never expected this kind of pain at all. When will it go !!!

Have you tried painkillers? I found paracetamol helped lots. Was cross with myself for waiting too long before giving in. But I did find they helped significantly. Jab on a Sunday pain gone by Tuesday.

Yes I took painkillers and a couple of hours later the pain slightly got better and then went! I was confused because they say the pain lasts 24/48 hours atleast 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’m thinking will it come back??

If it returns take more paracetamol. That is advise given in leaflet given following jab. I took 1st paracetamol at 3 in the morning then ok until 14:00 when I took some more paracetamol. Fine after that.

The nasty side affects of this jab can vary from individual to individual. They suck and I hope you feel better soon. Sometimes side effects are a good thing as it shows your body is reacting to the virus and it’s creating antibodies in order to keep you safe and protected.

It can take 1/2 weeks sometimes to feel better. But most are fine after a few days. When did you have your jab?

Hope you feel better soon x

Do you think your uptick of pain is from the Covid vaccine?

Fingers crossed its just a one time thing. Did it cause your epilepsy to act up or was it just the increase in pains which terrifies me since I have PSA and so do not want to be crippled up again.

in reply toBatty1

Hi Batty1, no it dint bother my epilepsy

Which vaccine did you have. I had astra zeneca at 2.30 at 5pm i was freezing cold, temp jumped up, bones ached, headache and itching lasted a couple of days then ok Im on 8 paracetamols a day already and still had stronger pain than normal.

I think ur side effects sound worse than me! I had Oxford vaccine. I started to feel better slowly and since yesterday feel bad to normal. Feels great 😁

I do have underlying conditions which obviously wont help. Just hope the 2nd jab is not as bad, my arm was fine not even a twinge just all the other side effects it seems as though the oxford astra zeneca has more side effects than the pfizer going by people i know of.
