Brenda800 I have polymyalgia was treated with steroids for 10 months tapered slowly can any tell me how long can the side effects last

I assume your PMR has gone completely ? I had awful PMR affecting both upper arms eventually went to GP who confirmed via a blood test Inflammation out of control. Prescribed Preds. which stopped the pain almost immediatly. Gradually lowered dose over a few weeks and since stopping have had no side effects whatsoever. What side effectsdo you suffer ?

The symptoms are easing a bit now had aches and pains and weakness hoping now lm getting back to feeling normal
