Head aches

I’ve been having constant headaches for a while now. The temporal arteries are slightly bulging. Doctor sent me for blood tests and it’s not temporal arteritis but he hasn’t signalled what it actually is. I have a slight incline on my skull. It’s not painful just annoying me. My right side is higher than the left side of my head. Hard to explain. Sometimes the headache is burning. Sometimes it’s stabbing. But it’s constantly moving. Mainly by the temples but does move round the back of the head. I’ve been getting stuffy noses for a while now and also started having bouts of tinnitus along with different sized pupils. Which no one seems concerned about. Anyone have any ideas or experienced any of the same?

Have you seen a neurologist? Or an ear nose & throat specialist? Either might be able to assess if there’s anything that could be causing the headaches and sinus probs - could all be interlinked.

I’ve had telephone consultations with neurology had two MRI scans. Seen an ENT finally last week who said the treatment I’ve been going through for sinusitis is wrong. I have an allergy to something (randomly started 5/6 months ago). Don’t know if this would cause these symptoms though

It does seem so strange. You have exactly the same symptoms which I had. After my MRI they did a biopsy and although the Radiologist had been saying he didn’t think it was Temporal Arteritis until my Neurologist wanted a biopsy and then it was proved I did have it. Sorry to say it, but it’s just you didn’t mention you had a biopsy of the fluid. Still I do hope you get the diagnosis soon as it was horrible when I kept getting those headaches. I wish you well thanks Chrissy

Thank you Christine. Hopefully they will get things moving a bit if I phone up and tell them about what you experienced. I haven’t had a biopsy of the area but I have phoned the neurologist. It’s not a great feeling to have. And I don’t look forward to the biopsy if I have to have one 😫

No I can honestly say the fear is worse it’s so fine you hardly know it’s been done, if you have to have one. I hope you don’t I hope you resolve what it is. Keep going
