Hi all, I've been suffering with shortness of breath for along as i can remember I've just had septoplasty and turbine reduction 30th June I'm struggling to sleep badly due to shortness of breath anything you suggest. My Uvula is swollen most likely due to oxygen tube down my throat throughout the OP

Hi Edenace. I'm sorry to read that you're struggling right now. I've had the full work on my nose and I know that it is not cool, to say the least. Take it easy for the moment, you are in full recovery period and everything in your nose is swollen. I can remember my throat hurting like hell and being black and blue from all the bruising. I had to prop myself up with several pillows to be able to sleep at night. I know that it was helping as well to have some peppermint essential oil on a tissue to breathe in. It seems to open up a bit the nostrils.

Sorry, I don't think there's much you can do right now, just be patient.

All the best!
