There's not a lot of context to go on here, has your GP asked lots of questions to try and determine the cause of your chest pain? If it's only been happening for a short time, there's the possibility of a pulled muscle in which case pain killers would be the right course of action. If it's long term then I'd be pretty insistent on an investigation...

You must be very worried about this and the global situation right now. I suspect you should be honest with your doctor and tell him you are worried.

Have you told him how worried you are? It sounds like you may have a pulled muscle that is being made worse by worry.

I consulted GP for chest pain and he gave me Naproxen which caused me more chest pain as it caused me acid reflux.

If that is the case, mention that to your GP. They changed mine to anti-inflammatory gel to rub in pain area.

If you do not have any health issues and most likely it’s muscle related which is very painful. Did you do any stretches or activity that might have caused the damage?

Most of the times right answer is the most simple one and nothing to be worried about.

Another possibility can be Acidity - hope your GP checked that with you.

Take proper rest, don’t pick up heavy objects, or do any stretches. See if rest works. If it stays the same for 14 days consult them again. 👍
