Hiya, I'm 27 and suffering with CRPS in both my legs and want to know if anyone in the UK has had a SCS though the nhs? If so how did you go about getting one?

Thanks to everyone who reads this and how you are all well

Hi,

I have CRPS in my right lower leg. I went for an initial appointment about potentially having an SCS implant even though I wasn’t sure that’s what I even wanted, was relieved to be told I’m too overweight for one.

You can get your GP to refer you to a specialist hospital, if you are near to London you should get referred to St Thomas Hospital. I’m not sure about north of the UK, but there is a Facebook group that I’m in for CRPS sufferers and a lot of people post questions about SCS implants so you could look at joining and asking.

Sorry I couldn’t be much help.
