Oh my lord! Prescribed new tablets for the pain

Woo hoo (giggles) 🤯💊 apart from feeling completely tipsy and having the worst twitching upper body spasiums and no sleep. I felt like utter shit this morning 😭. I couldn't even speak properly? And no it didn't do jack for the pain. So feeling better that I'm back on the old tables and sticking to the plan. So think twice about taking PREGABALIN TORRENT lol

I want to urge you to go to the ER. The speach problems and twitching concern me. I'm thinking stroke.

Lol nope guess again 😁 quick run down. 22years lower back pain, worsening in the past year. 7 injections in total and on tramadol for past 4 years. I'm sick of taking them as they have no effect.. I just want to op.

Hi arsepain I know what it's like been suffering since the 80s . Wasn't sure if you meant operation on your last comment I had mine in 2004 Feb I think . I'm not sure if I were just a bad choice not suitable for surgery but it was the worst decision of my life . I know my spine was in a bad way as I had been in construction since leaving school . My last 5 or 7 years at work I was taking so much opiate it became dangerous even though I was in agony the fear of unemployment was worse . By the time they got me in surgery my spine was very unstable had lost feeling in legs . I'm not sure if your that far down the line but surgery DIDNT WORK for me . 12 months to fully recover from it and take even more opiate than before OxyContin and oramorph the oxy is a terrible drug . My advice be careful what you decide and never agree to a fusion with inter spinal cages pedicle screws and rods it's barbaric . There is an Asian surgeon in London that can replace your disc with a mechanical copy he has fantastic results . Oh and the side effects from your pregabelin are to be expected if you stopped them abruptly . It isn't an opiate but an anticonvulsant anti epileptic drug works on the brain they use it for nerve pain too . Hope you get things sorted one thing I have found helpful is a really good tens machine don't bother with the cheap underpowered ones purchase a good one its helps me so you never know . Good luck Neil

I don't know what country you live in but here in the US what happened to you has a name. Failed back surgery syndrome. You've got to figure that if they name it, it's not uncommon. Back surgery has a very low success rate. For years I was told my back wasn't bad enough to warrant surgery. Then a few months go I was told that my back is so bad they won't do surgery. (my bones are very brittle). I am waiting for a pain pump, which will dispense Morphin directly into my spinal fluid. This is actually better then pills because it only delivers micrograms instead of milligrams like the tablets.

Lol welcome to the funny farm I'm in the UK. The NHS has completely gone downhill within the past 5-years and any kind of treatment no matter what you've got is poor. My partner has just had his kidney removed but it took 14 weeks for that to happen. But they still don't know whether it's cancerous or not? Me I'm still waiting and waiting and waiting.

I haven't had any surgery yet? All I keep getting is the injections and medication.

I don't mind the injections but I wish that they would last just a little bit longer than just two to four weeks. It's then another 6/9 months waiting and they keep trying to put gabapentin and amitriptyline on my medication list and I refuse to take that. I guess from my point of view is trying to stay as positive as possible and also trying anything that takes the pain away. ,👍😜

I'm in uk and yes we call it the same thing fbss I had enquire drew about the pump but after reading about it decided against it . Don't wish to worry you but have you read about crystallisation of the feed lines that's what concerned me . Hope it all goes well for you regards Neil

You are going through a mild form of withdrawal after taking a very STRONG opiate your system wasn’t used to. I agree with contacting your physician regarding your speech.

I think my system is used to strong opiate 😉 I was on 7 tramadol a day. I've now cut it down to 4 and paracetamol in the past week.
