I'm new here. I'm interested in knowing more about managing chronic pain due to arthritis and also to chronic pelvic pain. My husband suffers with arthritis in a number of joints and has had replacement surgery for his knees. I'm looking forward to being involved in this community. Than you.

Hello Patsypsych and welcome aboard.

I presume you want to help your husband manage his pain rather than do it for him? I am a full time carer to my husband who has had chronic pain, plus many other conditions, for over 35 years. He broke his spine while serving with the Royal Navy and I have supported him along his juney.

Do you attend appointments at the GP surgery with your husband? Has he attended pain management? Do you know how debilitating pain is? And probably depression which is usually a bed fellow of pain.I

I have had huge support from this site as well as pain management who continue to treat him

Plus I have a few wonky bits myself

Have you tried Curcumin tablets for pain? What about ginger pills plus homemade ginger tea with lemon and honey.

Magnesium bisglycinate is a muscle relaxer at that calms spasms and helps with constipation. Coconut water contains magnesium as well.

The anxiety caused by living with chronic pain can be somewhat regulated with passionflower pills or tincture. I’ve used it for years and it’s SO effective.

Arnica Montana gel or cream kept refrigerated and then applied cold to achy joints and tissues helps to.
