Shoulder and Spine Pain

Hello, I’ve had shoulder pain in my left side combined with mid spine pain on and off for a few years but it has progressively getting worse. It is sore during the day but even worse when I lie down. It is impossible to sleep on either my left side or my back and I often wake up on my back with pins and needles in my left hand (and sometimes even in both hands). I’ve been seeing a physio who has not been able to help and recommended an ultrasound and X-ray thinking there may be bursitis in my shoulder but it revealed nothing. My GP has not been able to help and has prescribed Moxicam antiflammatories to assist the pain. I don’t know what to do next to try and work out what actually is causing this pain. Any ideas?

Good afternoon, has anyone suggested you have a MRI scan?

Hello, no nobody has suggested an MRI. Would that show up more than an ultrasound and X-ray?

Yes it would it scans the all of your body, and will pick up on any abnormalities, you CAN tell a doctor to refer you, for some reason doctors like you to get worse & then they might do summat so jus tell him your demand to be referred for these test it's your body and its your right to know what is your causing pain and distress xx

This is chiropractor territory. Most physio's do not have the skills to deal with it.
