Chest pains

Hi all, I’ve been getting chest pains these last few days, it doesn’t usually last very long, maybe a few seconds but they’re sharp and painful. Not sure if it’s muscular or not so don’t want to waste time if it is

Like bananas says and Old ham12 this is urgent get to hospital now..Is your life worth putting it off because you don't want to go to hospital.. Please go. Love susiejo1948

When you say chest, do you mean actually in your chest or top of your stomach where you get heartburn? I have had horrific pain there, but no other symptoms which go with a heart problem (arm/shoulder/jaw pain, pale complexion, nausea or being sick, cold sweat). Turned out that I may have gallstones and am awaiting a scan.

It’s at the top of my chest, mainly on the right but it’s been on both sides. I don’t have other symptoms either which is why I think it’s muscular. Hope you get yours sorted soon!

Could be costocondritis, but get it checked, I have chest spasms that are crippling, it’s like a heart attack!! But get it checked, BP too, better safe than sorry x
