How to volunteer for helpline

Hello, my Mother, who is a pain sufferer, wants to volunteer as a helpline listener, anyone know how to progress this? I have emailed but no answer. I appreciate it is all down to volunteer generosity, no complaints just wondering how my Mother can enroll to give her support.

I'm sorry that you have had no response, we have just recruited a new helpline supervisor but they haven't officially started yet. Please can you email [e-mail] with your request and somebody will get back to you. Also, if you a CV then send that too, but no worries if not, just a brief description of who you are and why you want to volunteer etc. will be just as good. We do rely heavily on volunteers so sometimes it does take us longer than desirable to get back to everyone, but we do try.
