After injuring my leg last February, and MRSA infecting it, an ulcer developed.
I had to have my leg bound with dressings, three times a week until September.
The skin has remained very thin, and even a slight scratch bleeds profusely.
Since all this I have been kept awake at night with this same leg being so painful, from my foot (instep) and up the outside of my leg. This is the side on my leg where the ulcer developed. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s worse at night, and I can’t sleep.

You need to get blood and fluids in the leg moving so that waste products are removed and nutrients are provided.
The NHS is very conservative about treatments. For a treatment to be changed lots of money has to be spent on a trial.
You are going to need to do your own investigations. Ie do various experiments and see what the results are.
