Hi there i get a shingles break out about every 3 months, i was told once you have it you got it for life, how i manage it, as it breaks out in the same place every time, is once i feel the flu like symptoms coming on and the itch in the place that it errupts, i see a gp and requst antivirol meds, they stop the blisters breaking out for me, i am to young for and preventive shingles injections as i am 54, and there not available till i am 70. so thats how i manage my shingles, i eat healthy to, but it just takes a extra bit life stress and its back for me.

Hi

I can relate to your frustrations about having shingles every 3 months... l have recently had it every month for the last three months l was like you l would have it every 3 to 4 months it’s horrible and so painful ... try and take care of yourself ... l think there we should be allowed to have the injection if it keeps coming back ...

Take care
