Coccyx Pain Physio

Recently I posted about my coccyx pain and what to do next. Thanks for all you advice, help etc :)

I have booked in my physio, yay! My work has insurance so I've used that to go private (rather than the NHS).

As it's my first appointment, what should I expect them to do? Talk about? What should I wear?

Hi Farahziya,

I hope your physio is experienced in treating people with pelvic pain. If so I suggest you make a few notes about the problems/pain you've been having, how long, what the GP has done, results of any scans etc medication, diet .... The physio will want to know this but will undoubtedly examine you, too, externally and internally. So whatever you wear, you will need to undress!

I hope this helps. Edythe

That all does help, thanks :)

I'll make notes, good idea.

I have no problems with undressing, not self conscious anymore; ive been poked and prodded and looked at for my endometriosis so I'm used to all that now!
