Hi all, looking for advice here. I have a spondylolythesis and it causes lower back pain. But it is bearable. Ten days ago I got a sciatic type pain which stops at the knee. I've never been in so much pain. I can't walk at min as it's so painfull. My Dr gave, me amitriptyline diazepam and codeine. Which don't bring much relief. I've barely slept. Now my kneecap is very painful and I have pain in my shin. This is all on the right side. My shin for no reason has developed a bruise about 6 mins long. And my thigh . Knee and shin all hurt when I touch them. I'm really fed up and feel like crying. I've got back and buttock pain as well. I've tried not water bottle etc.I can't put pressure on knee at all now. Anyone know why this has happened?

Hello Denae - I get a lot of severe pain and nausea arising from the dreaded FIBROMYALGIA. I have trawled through lots of recommended relief prescriptions, including CODEINE and AMYTRIPTYLINE. We are all different but I have found my present 6 hourly slow release morphia (30mg) ZOMORPH, backed up with DIAZAPAM as required, is reasonably effective and importantly devoid of excessive side effects. With me its probably 60% effective in alleviating pain; God knows , I couldn't manage without it! Why not try it?

Good luck, Tidewatch
