Hi, mine is in it's 14th month. Yes it has improved, I could barely move 12 months ago, now the pain varies from day to day.

I Take Gaberpentin and codeine 60 mg 3x daily and paracetamol three times. Not sure if I feel any great difference, walking and general housework seem to loosen me up PROVIDING!!! I have a two hour rest in bed in the middle of the day.

I am completely exhausted and look forward to crashing out in the daytime. Night is a different matter as turning over in bed is a painful problem.

Have changed medical practice in the hope of more help but am still told I need to be patient!!

Am looking and feeling a wreck, hence my search for a time scale for this medical curse.

Hope this doesn't depress other sufferers.

Thanks John, this is probably the best advice I have had, ignore the doc. and his habit of increasing my pain relief, I need a quality of life back.
