What kind of exercise to I do for my knees

Aren't you going to physio? That is usual after an operation like this. I don't know what country you are in though so that might not apply.

If you don't have access to physio then I am sure there are online exercises which would help. x

Not sure what you mean by exercise. There exercise to move joints and there is exercise where you learn how move ensuring you place the forces though the joints the right way. Exercise for the sake of exercise may get you moving, but could do you a lot of damage.

Knee joints can get worn out if your weight is not balanced when you walk and the groin muscles are over tight in the wrong places.

You need to research the issues mentioned above.

I'm very surprised that the Hospital/Clinic, that performed your operation, has not arranged physio-therapy. If they haven't then I think that you need to ask.

Most gyms have an 'Assessment' service, whereby they can determine you individual needs. (my own gym did this via a 'GP' referral Scheme)

I would feel unsure, even unhappy, to advise you further myself because, to be honest, I don't know.

I might suggest that a visit to either the Hospital that performed the Surgery, or your own GP, should be your first Port Of Call.

What does your surgeon and physiotherapist say?

If your local leisure / Sports centre has warm water in the pool then I would suggest swimmingnt and gentle exercises
