What do I do?

My whole nail has come off my little pinky toe. What do I do? I am worried.

It depends on why you lost it, I lost my big toe nail a few years ago, but I had damaged it, they simply grow back over time, if you have not done anything to it then keep an eye on others being loose and contact your Doctor to rule out anything else.

It should grow back , i lost a thumb nail once and it took about 6 months to grow back .

Like the others have said it should grow back, mine grew back , ILost mine in an accident. However you need to protect the toe as it will be very vulnerable . Keep a sock on it at all times

I have put a plaster and surgical tape on it.

Breathable plaster and no tape would be better. Need air to get to it. Ideally when not wearing shoes should leave open to the air.

When I said protect the toe that’s lost the nail I meant protecting it from getting knocked . That’s why I said put a sock on it when your walking around and doing things. Leave to open air . No plaster , no tape .

I think so, I lost my big toe nail when I knocked my foot getting out of my car, ouch , my toe swelled up and eventually the nail fell off, but as I said it eventually grew back.
