Hi there, bit of a random question but why do you think you need a good allergy test? Have you started eating something different lately? How long have you had the pain for? What’s the doctor said x

Hello Bexamy. Thank you for replying. No I am just trying to think what is causing the pain? Looking at photos of myself from 7 years ago and I had much less weight.... (7 stone) less!!!... I am a veggie 7yrs and have recently reduced alcohol intake... Very bloated... Try to tell all this to Dr but no time to discuss for long... Steroids for a chest infection had me mowing lawns, cleaning windows and best of all no pain!! Unfortunately I cannot continue with steroids... Wishful thinking!

Maybe you’ve got a hormone imbalance or something is off in your bloods like a vitamin defencany, I would ask him to do full bloods. Is it aches and pains as though you’ve got the flu and sluggish etc? Try and keep track of everything like a little diary of how your feeling etc, and don’t take to much supermarket stuff until you’ve had your bloods come back as you could give yourself to much of the wrong thing x

I have never felt energy like it S, amazing, the house was shining and I was looking for more work to do!..... I even looked them up on the Internet to get them but had to promise my children that I wouldn't send for them... What can I try that isn't pharamasutical?? I'm keeping the supermarket shares up with my sales in turmeric!

Sorry to hear this. I won't be able to take them again as it was a chest infection remedy but oh it was such a wonderful feeling being out of pain and have energy. We will see what my weight loss programme and dairy free lifestyle brings xx.. Keep in touch. Wishing you relief with your pain

Not everyone responds to drugs in the same way. Some people get very little effect, other metabolise certain drugs too easily and they only work for a short time. It might be worth having a conversation again with your GP from that angle.

Also there are different kinds of pain, and each kind responds to different drugs. If one drug isn't working, it could be because it isn't the kind of pain that is relieved by that drug.

Thank you. I just want to reduce my weight and I have stopped dairy products to see if I can help myself as I believe my diet has a lot to do with the pain. I am very short and have put a lot of strain on my limbs.

Hi are you a vegetarian or a vegan?

Ask for a referal to a Rheumatologist.

Ask for Blood tests as follows - see if GP will do them;

Thyroid Antibodies TPO and Tg,

Free T3 and Free T4 and T4,

Vitamin D , Calcium;

B12 and Folate

also Ferritin.

Look up symptoms of an Underactive Thyroid on Thyroid UK website - see how many you have. Take a written list into GP with you. See a different GP at the practice if there is one. Take someone with you for a bit of support if you can.

Also Google search symptoms of deficiencies in each nutrient above on NHS choices and other sites.

Did you get to speck to your doctor in the end x

Not yet Bexamy... It is always the same. Never quite the right time as a full time carer. I am trying to diet to see if there is relief. I am also trying to cut out dairy.. I will try anything.
