Hi I have CRPS throughout my left shoulder all the way down my into my fingers and in constant pain so I can understand how you must feel, to start with I was to it was a trapped nerve in my neck and was sent for physiotherapy as that can usually help with such things or a steroid injection seems to help a few people with trapped nerves and even slipped disc.

If you can as your doctor to refer you for one of the two as the pain is so bad, ask to see a physiotherapist fist and hopefully they can advise you better on what to do next or even sort out a treatment plan that should help but if that fail that look into the injection.

l hope you get the help you need soon and wish you all the best in getting it sorted.

I have damage to my shoulder due to , albeit a round about way, but because of an accident at work. Waiting on an ultra sound scan. Got physio arranged. Have pain in my upper arm, shoulder and neck. Have slight numbness in pinot and next finger. Weird feeling them. Anyway, I am on an analgeasic for my innitial accident then had this fall which has caused this pain in my left arm. I think it may be a burst bursar in my left shoulder. Maybe even a trapped nerve, who knows. The point is, I know your pain. It's slightly debilitating especially in bed. I cannot sleep on my left side, my work injury makes it difficult to sleep on my right side so I sleep on my back and snore so m wife is kept awake!!

anyway, keep asking for nerve pain killers. Gabapentin is a good one, once you get used to it.

good luck, keep us informed
