Hi, I get ringing in my ears for a few weeks after flying but never had it as long as you.
Do you suffer from sinus issues or allergies? Because that can cause ringing in ears at times too, flying can make it worse. That’s my issue.
It’s not a good idea to wear earphones or anything like that while having ringing in your ears, loud noises of course are not healthy for anyone’s ears but the earphones plug the ears which can make ringing or dizziness from the ears to get worse, after wearing earphones for long amounts of time and doing it too often.
If you are around loud music or machines a lot of the times that can cause ringing too, again after long exposure.
I’m don’t know if anxiety would cause ringing in your ears but I am no expert on the subject.
I had some thing happen to me before I was diagnosed I had taken a plane to my sisters on the return trip I had a slight cold We I had sneezed while we were descending I thought I had blown my ear it hurt so bad I also went to my pc didn’t blow my ear drum but I did have an ear infection. Maybe you should see a ears nose and throat specialist
They might be able to figure out what is going on.
I have tinnitus, which is ringing in the ears Have had for 30 years. Loud music, aspirin, and hearing problems are a few of the triggers I know about. There are more. I would see an ENT for hearing test and avoid aspirin. Google tinnitus on internet too. Good luck! I know it's very annoying.
You know what I Just thought of something have you gone swimming or have you gotten water in your ear drum my son a long time ago got swimmers ear it is very painful he missed two weeks of school. He had to have ear drops and other meds then Tylenol and Advil to take away the pain. Not saying you have it. But something to ask you pc I wouldn’t take any medicines before you speak to your doctor.
