Deep ache in legs when sat or in bed

hi I've been having really bad deep ache in both legs when sat or laid in bed really uncomfortable can't ignore it have to move about gives some relief till I'm still again then starts anyone else have this or know what it could be .

Hi sara I have the same it feels like my legs are badly bruised or like having the same pain as toothache only in my legs, if that makes sense. I either elevate my legs or I have ibuprofen gel that I have rubbed into them and then I keep my legs still. When you feel the pains can you stand one leg touching the other? Mine is because of nerve damage from my neuro conditions. If it keeps happening see your gp. I hope you get some help x

Whereabouts is your deep ache in your legs? Depending upon its positioning, it could be a few different things. One of them could be sciatica, which I tend to get in my groin and down the right-hand side of my right leg. It can be extremely painful too. I'm not saying that it is that, but that's my symptom I have of sciatica. I also get swollen ankles and calves that are very hard to the touch as well as very swollen. If you can give any more info, others may be able to suggest what it could be. Have you seen your GP about it, as if it's causing you a lot of grief, it's something I would suggest you might do, if you haven't already? Also they will be able to give you a proper diagnosis?. I do hope you manage to get some answers, as there's nothing worse than suffering from something that you haven't got diagnosed. Take care. X
