Hip replacement
Have you been doing the exercises given by the physio? It can take up to 6 months to get back to normal
x
Yes - it's surprising how much muscle you can lose even when you're attempting to remain active and then you start to walk around any discover just how much muscle quantity or quality you've lost.
Strains and sprains can take 6 months for recovery so, yes, backs that have had some disuse can be similar in length of recovery. Progress can be slow when following physiotherapy exercises but it will happen.
Hi Cat
I will ask a colleague, who is a physiotherapist.
Gary
Oh thank very much Gary I am doing all the exercises I have been given and walking but not overdoing it I feel it as I walk up and down stairs normally again I couldn't walk for so long before my operation and my posture was awful
I'm seeing my doctor on the 23rd have to wait ages to see our own GP
It's not uncommon, but if still bothering you have a chat with doctor.
Early days as yet regarding rehabilitation,it sounds like your body is realigning it's self after the operation.
Take care
Gary
