Pain in the neck

Recently my neck at the back on the right hand side only is cracking loudly and slightly sore and of late I'm getting migraine

I'm 71 and quite sporty so this is really unusual for me. If I shampoo my hair in the shower and turn my head there is a clunk as if the shoulder and neck.

Very weird and no apparent reason but this has lasted for a month now

If any ideas please answer Mr Roy

The only thing I can think of is Just wear and tear of the bones. Could be arthritis setting in. Pains in the neck can also cause head aches but a visit to a doctor could put your mind at rest. Or try a chiropractor.

Probably you have some vitamin deficiency. Try taking some multi vitamin tablet specially Vitamin E.

I have the same as you . It affected me every day along with an awful headache. I was found to be vitamin D deficient so I am now on medication plus I have a Dexa scan on the 8th June. I think it's just wear and tear on the bones or it could be osteoperosis .
